Rubicon (Roma sub Rosa 7)
Environmented in the year 49 a. C., when Julius Caesar crosses the Rubicon, thus fighting civil war in the Roman Republic. At the same time that one of Pompey's favorite cousins has been killed, Pompey and the other Optimats leaders are leaving Rome to gather forces against Caesar. But Pompey forces Gordiano to accept the work of solving the murder. To make sure that Gordiano will act diligently, he takes his son-in-law and makes him join the army of Pompey, while the adopted son of Gordiano, Meton, secretary of Caesar, is part of the other army, who approaches Rome.
