The Sittaford Mystery
Sittaford House is a mansion located in a small citadel in the English countryside. His owner, Joseph Trevelyan, rents it during the winter to the ladies Willet, mother and daughter, and he moves to the nearest city. There are six small houses around the mansion, built and sold or rented by Trevelyan. The new inhabitants of the mansion want to establish good relations with the neighbors and often invite them to have tea and play in the cold afternoon of the English winter.
