Mr. Projarchin, an enigmatic character who lives an extremely poor life, eating leftovers and sleeping on a bad-death pension. His landlady and the other tenants feel sorry for him, but he will finally discover that that guest was hiding a secret he would never reveal.
Double
One night, Goliadkin is expelled from a dinner at his boss's house that he had allegedly been invited to and this fact gives him a deep shock. The next day he stumbles into the street with an individual completely identical to him: the other Lord Goliadkin. Although they are physically the same, their character is totally opposite, as the false Goliadkin is a joyful, safe, triumphant and always surrounded by friends.
