Young Swiss writer who has written several mystery novels that have achieved great international internal success
In New York City, in the spring of 2008, as the United States hastens to the presidential elections, Marcus Goldman, a successful young writer, is at a time of agitation: he cannot write the new novel he must deliver to his editor in a few months. His friend and former university professor, Harry Quebert, one of the country's most respected writers, is caught in his past and is accused of murdering Nola Kellergan, a young woman with whom he allegedly had an affair, in 1975. Convinced of Harry's innocence, Marcus renounces everything to travel to New Hampshire to investigate. Events get over it quickly: the investigation sinks and he is threatened. To clear Harry's name and save his writer's career, he must answer three questions: Who killed Nola Kellergan? What happened in New Hampshire in the summer of 1975? And how do you write a successful novel?
Marcus Goldman, author of The Truth about the Harry Quebert case, tells the story of his family.
