The eye of the world

In the remote village of Campo de Emond, in the region of the Two Rios, Rand al'Thor leads a simple life as a farmer with his father Tam. But on the night of Bel Tine, the calm is broken when the trollocs attack the village. During the flight, Tam is seriously injured, and Rand is forced to take him to the people for help, while discovers that violence has spread throughout the region. Shortly after, a mysterious woman named Moiraine, accompanied by her guardian Lan, reveals that the attack has not been fortuitous: Rand and two other young people in the village are the target of the Shadow forces. To save Campo de Emond and its inhabitants, the boys must leave their home and take a long journey.
