Bulba Taras

It tells the story of an old zaporogo Cossack, Taras Bulba, and his two children, Ostap and Andrei. The children of Taras, after completing their studies at the Kiev Academy, return to their home. The three characters on their reencounter take an epic journey to the Zaporozhia Sich in Ukraine, where they join other Cossacks in the war against Poland.
