On the road

With an unmistakable bop style, which was awarded to Kerouac the title of "heir to Charlie Parker," this novel narrates the crazed trips, on board of Cadillacs borrowed and Dodges lost, by Dean Moriarty, the mythical hipster, the hero of all the Beatniks, "a madman, an angel, a cheerleader" and the narrator Sal Paradise, walking the continent, from New York to New Orleans, Mexico City, San Francisco, Chicago and back to New York.
